Artifact One: Pomona College's Academic Advising Program's Assessment in IBM SPSS
|
As part of our academic program we learned how to perform statistical analysis IBM SPSS. For this assignment I had the privilege of working with the Assistant Dean of Students and Dean of Women's office at Pomona College. The Below is the classroom presentation from this analysis of Pomona College's Academic Advising program

Artifact Two: Learning to Create Editable PDF's with Adobe Professional |
In the spring of 2013 I was determined to create a system of effective advantages and incentives for students to enroll at University of the West. One of the aspects that was explored was the creation of dual enrollment agreements for the local high schools. Using both the accelerated and competency based models I was determined to help University of the West to become the first university in the state of California to offer three year bachelor degree programs.
The survey below was created as an editable PDF using Adobe Professional to measure the interest of the local high schools so that University of the West could best allocate it faculty to this goal with targeted efficiency. It was designed to be able to collect the relevant data to be processed in IBM SPSS so that the statistical interest could be measured accurately. In order to create this survey as an editable PDF document I was required to master the above Adobe program. (Unfortunately, the artifact is not loadable to this website in its editable form, and the word version of it serves as the example.) Bradley, M. J., Seidman, R. H., Painchaud, S. R. (2012).
